OK so having your hair cut can be a bit of an OCD nightmare, just ask Sugarscape’s Amy, who when she had her waist-length hair cut to, well just above her waist, she called it “a bob”, cried for days and had to eat copious amounts of Chinese food to get over it.

You can imagine how poor Lady Gaga felt then when her mum used to sneak into her bedroom while she was sleeping and cut her hair. She was so miffed by the incident and having her parents control how she looked that her song Hair is all about it.

Speaking to KISS, Gaga said: "When I was young my mom and dad used to ask me to not leave the house dressed a certain way and asked me to change my hair.

"My mom would even cut my hair when I was asleep because I had really long split hairs, because I liked it really long like a hippy.”

Er, could that constitute as the stuff nightmares are made of?
