Welcome to weird news volume 2.
We hope they call the restaurant 'I see you've come out for a burger when you've got steak at home,' otherwise there's really nothing they can do to comfort us after the massive disappointment that Ashley Cole isn't going to kick off a music career with Jay-Z as we thought.
That would have been hilarious. Move over Jedward.
*sigh* Oh well, we'll make do with an eatery that we won't be able to afford to eat in instead.
Do we have to start calling Ashley Ash-C now? Ugh. We're used to other C related words for him.
Ahem, right, let's be mature about this and give you the newsy bits. Ashley Cole and Jay-Z are opening a restaurant and club together in London.
They want to give jobs to
a load of dossers the long-term unemployed, and donate some of their profts to charity. Which is nice.
Jay-Z had some shizz to say about it; "London is one of the most vibrant and exciting cities in the world and the perfect location for our new venue. The 40/40 London is going to be the hottest place in town.”
Ashley's probably wondering how he managed to luck out with this deal: “I am delighted to be working with Jay-Z. I have grown up listening to his music and now to be doing business with him is amazing."
Yeah. Well. We have no idea why this is happening. We had no idea Jay-Z knew who Ashley was. Weird.
Maybe the steak section can be called 'Cheat Meats'. Maybe the extensive wine list can be called 'We got 99 bottles but a gin ain't one.'
Or maybe you guys can think of something better?
