For some reason, a few people might think that posting loads of photos of you rolling around on a bed sharing a spliff or ten with your abusive ex boyfriend might be a sterling example to set for the millions of young girls that aspire to be you.
Chatting in a podcast interview earlier this week, the Girls creator who also plays the leading lady Hannah, went off on a bit of a rant about how Rihanna should think more carefully about the image she creates.
'[Fame is] an amazing thing and it's a platform that you have to take seriously. Which is why sometimes, it's like. . . I used to be really into Rihanna, that pop star, and then it's like – again, I don't want to ever throw stones from my glass house – but I follow her on Instagram and I just think about how many little girls beyond what I could even comprehend are obsessed with Rihanna,' Us magazine quoted her as saying.
True dat *finger snap*. Lena also went on to talk about Rihanna’s relationship with Chris Brown, who we all remember, made Rihanna’s face look like a trodden-on beef burger with his fists.
'She left Barbados, she's had this amazing career, she's won a Grammy... She's talented. And then she gets back together with Chris Brown and posts a million pictures of them smoking marijuana together on a bed. And it cracks my heart in half in a way that makes me feel like I'm 95 years old,' she said.
We know your pain Lena. We wrestle with our love for Rihanna’s crotch thrusting, no clothes wearing, table dancing nature and our hatred for her STUPIDNESS every day of our lives. It’s HELL.
Do you agree with Lena, or are you staying loyal to Ri-Ri?
