Has Britney really been offered a job as a Peta receptionist? And more importantly, is she going to take it?


 

Hmm...we at Sugarscape think that someone's pulling our leg, but rumours have reached us that Ms Britney Spears has had a job offer - as a receptionist for animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (Peta) after seeing her performance as a receptionist in a US sitcom.

Now, we're well aware that this could be all in the name of April Fool's but according to the Peta bosses it's  100% true!

They're apparently targeting Brit because she has previously worn fur and bought animals from pet stores.

In a letter to Brit, Peta boss Ingrid E Newkirk has apparently offered her a real job as a receptionist.

"It could be for as little as an hour, and you would see - from the inside - why we are so concerned about issues like fur and homeless dogs and cats.

"As a ‘thank you’ for your willingness to learn and help, we would donate $1,000 to a children’s charity."
