The cute Little Miss Sunshine star Abigail Breslin has lost her Curious George doll...

Some sad news to report today. Apparently 11-year-old Abigail Breslin, from Little Miss Sunshine and the new Nim's Island, has lost her Curious George doll. The little monkey has accompanied her on all her travels over the past few years as she's worked on movies, gone to awards shows and given interviews. She would even joke and call him her "stuffed date" when she'd bring him to parties.

Thinking back to the scene of the Los Angeles disappearance, Abs told an MTV reporter, "I went to the Polo Lounge, and I was eating lunch. I put him under the table, and I left him, and when we called [afterwards], he wasn't there anymore.”

Poor girl! We'd hate to lose any of our treasured items and not know who had them.

Though Abs has given up her search and found a replacement that looks just like George, she would of course love to have the original back. She says that if the monkey-napper puts her toy on eBay, she'll buy it back if she has to.
