We've heard of fans going to mental lengths to meet their idols, but nicking an A-list moggie?Well that's what happened to poor unsuspecting heiress type Paris Hilton.

According to Paz, people often come up with unusual ways of engaging her in conversation

"I've had some major stalkers. One stole my cat [so he could] give it back."

Mew! And that's not the only sneaky trick they use to get up close and personal.

Other fans play it cool by pretend not to recognise her. "Men will come up to me and try to be cool. They'll be like: 'Hi, what's your name?' I'm like: 'I'm Deborah. And they keep talking to me, pretending that they don't know who I am."
