Anyone up for a bit of a DIY?
If we had a pound for every time Taylor Swift made us want to get up and go shopping, we’d have at least enough for an entire Nandos. Maybe even extra halloumi if you count her most recent uhmazing outfit, which she rocked in New York City earlier this week.
Swifty was looking a flippin’ dream in a simple but super stylish jumper and denim shorts combo, and seeing as we love nothing more than buying new stuff, we’ve recreated her look which costs more than $1000, on the high street for a whole lot less. HURRAH.
Taylor was looking elegant but still summery and super cute in her three quarter-sleeved white jumper, which looked like a basic piece from the front, but actually had an awesome cut out shape up the back. Aside from dodgy tan line potential, it’s pretty lush.
She teamed her knit with some classic denim hot pants frayed at the bottom hem for an effortless touch, but she glammed things up by styling the look with nude heels, a sophisticated black handbag and her signature red lip.
Alright, so we hunted high and low for a backless white jumper but it turns out that errr… there isn’t one. SO, we’ve been inspired to whack out the scissors and get DIYing.
We reckon all you’d have to do would be try on your top and get a mate to mark out the shape. Add an extra inch around the edge to allow a hem, cut out the shape, sew it up with a simple running stitch ET VOILA. Or y’know, get your mum to do it.
