It would seem Nicola Roberts has finally decided to cut off her long locks and follow the new trend for a short and choppy bob.

Nicola had been thinking about cutting her hair for a while, so spent the last week with her hair pinned and tucked underneath 'bob style' to see if she liked the look of a shorter new do.

Looking at these pics taken this week we now think she must have gone for the chop!

However just like the rest of Girls Aloud, Nicola is a huge fan of hair extensions - so we wouldn't be shocked if her hair looked long again in no time!
