Rihanna and mcr aren't the only celebs who have raised money for charity in the name of fashion...
The news that H&M are teaming up with Rihanna to raise money for HIV and AIDS charities got us thinking about other ways celebrities have got involved in charity-fashion campaigns. And look what we found out..!
Eva Mendes stripped completely starkers for a PETA anti-fur poster. “Some people still see wearing fur as glamorous and a sign of prosperity. Personally I think wearing a baby chinchilla says, ‘I'm ignorant,’” said the Hitch actress shortly after the photo was shot.
Another celeb to get naked in the name of fur, is Baywatch star Pamela Anderson. Pammie cares so much about the use of animals for fashion that she once posed naked in a shop window!
The star feels so strongly about people wearing animal products that she actually wishes them harm. She said: "If I had a super power it would be to have people's mink coats come back to life and attack them.” Go Pammie!
The actress also recently said she can’t stand it when she doesn’t look glamorous, and revealed that wearing stilettos to bed is her worst habit. We’re not sure whether to hail her for her fashion dedication or to think she’s slightly nutty?!
And finally, in future fashion-charity news, we’ve just found out that Madonna will host a fashion party for celebrities in New York on 6 February. Her friends Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Salma Hayek and Gwyneth Paltrow are all expected to show up.
The goal is to raise money for charities like UNICEF and Raising Malawi. Madonna set up Raising Malawi after she adopted David Banda from an orphanage in Malawi in 2006.
