Polo shirts are having a major fashion moment, but are they retro and cool or just a bit chavvy?

Tennis clothing company Fred Perry is having its 100th year anniversary this year and all the celebs seem to be paying homage to the iconic 60's label.

The Fred Perry polo shirt was made popular by 60's mods including model Twiggy and has been restored as one of the coolest British brands, with cool designer collaborations and amazing new styles.

Amy Winehouse began the revival of the Fred Perry polo shirt and gave it her own 60s twist with her enormous beehive, dogtooth mini skirt, ballet pumps and trademark flicked eyeliner.
