Emma Watson may be the face of Burberry, but she's chosen to work with a more down-to-earth label to create her first fashion collection...

Emma Watson is taking her first steps into the fashion world and has designed a debut collection with ethical label People Tree.

Emma took inspiration from summer festivals, the south of France and London street style and was the creative advisor for the collection.

The range is aimed at teens+ and features 26 affordable investment pieces and accessories, so you can get Emma's signature style without spending a fortune.

People Tree are known for their strict ethical guidelines and Emma's collection will be made mostly from organic and fairly traded cotton and all piece are handmade by Fair Trade groups around the world.

Emma said: "I was excited by the idea of using fashion as a tool to alleviate poverty and knew it was something I could help make a difference with.

"I think young people like me are becoming increasingly aware of the humanitarian and environmental issues surrounding fast fashion and want to make good choices but there aren't many options out there" she added.

Emma's collection will be launched early next year, but if you can't wait 'til then, check out People Tree's new Autumn/Winter collection online.

We love it that Emma juggles acting, modelling and now designing with her university life and can't wait to see what she's got lined up next.  Are you excited about Emma's ethical clothes range?
