Celebs swear by mineral foundation for keeping the shine away on the red carpet, but flawless, matte skin doesn't have to cost a fortune...
Mineral foundation is great for sensitive and blemish-prone skin, as it gives great coverage without blocking pores or looking too heavy - in fact, the minerals are good for your skin.
Just sweep over moisturised skin using a large make-up brush (no need for liquid foundation) and you're ready to go.
Bare Minerals, the original mineral foundation brand, is still one of the best but it can be a bit on the pricey side at £17.50 a pop.

We absolutely love Lily Lolo's mineral foundation, as it gives a great finish, comes in an adorable pot and is a lot more affordable at just £12. Plus, you get over double the amount of the Bare Minerals foundation.
