Hell hath no fury like an animal rights activist...

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen may not be fans of smiling, looking happy, being happy or wearing clothes that fit; but they do like fashion, dahling.

What’s more, they like fur on their fashion. In fact, the more dead animals they can attach to their designs the better. Ugh.

The twins have recently designed a backpack made of animal skin that costs a staggering $16,000 – that’s £10,000. Animal rights people PETA are obviously furious and have labelled the girls The Trollsen Twins.

“If it looks like a troll and acts like a troll, it's probably a Trollsen Twin - or someone wearing one of their new $16,000 totes, which are made from the fur and skins of innocent animals.

"What the Olsens lack in creativity, they try to make up for in shock value. Sadly, it's the foxes, calves, and alligators - who often have the fur ripped off them while they are still conscious and able to feel pain - who pay the dearest price."

Here are other things you can do with 10 grand: Pay rent on a nice flat for a year, buy a car, go on a tonne of really cool holidays, buy loads of biscuits, do anything that doesn’t involve killing an animal just so you can wear a s*dding backpack.

WHO BLOODY WEARS BACKPACKS ANYWAY?

What are your views on the fur industry, is it ever acceptable to wear fur?
