Blatantly channeling Geri Halliwell.
We have no idea what Victoria’s little old Secret actually is (and we’re not sure we wanna know tbh, we bet it’s plain rude), but we have a feeling that Taylor Swift’s secret might be that she’s a massive closet Geri Halliwell fan, as last night she used her as a bit of style inspiration for her performance on the infamous catwalk.
Swizzlestick was the musical entertainment at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in New York, amongst the leggy likes of Cara Delevingne, Adriana Lima and Karlie Kloss. She performed her super smash hit I Knew You Were Trouble in a rather un-swifty looking outfit, but looked so hot that she could have passed for one of the angels.
Ditching the cutesie frocks and high waisted shorts, but not quite going for the full on snazzy bra and knickers combo, Taylor wowed the crowds in a bright and bold Union Jack patterned mini dress, taking on the standard Victoria Secret glamour and giving it her own fun twist.
Her red, white and blue dress featured a plunging neckline thanks to the cross-over shape, with one blazer-style sleeve to give it an edgy asymmetric shape, a cute separate collar, and behind the mini skirt trailed a mahoosive striped train for some DRAHMAH as she shimmied down the runway.
Getting all rock and roll on our asses as she performed with Fall Out Boy as her musicians, Tay showed off her rebellious side, as the flag design was covered in paint splatters. She glammed up by teaming it with matching lace up heel boots and a teeny weeny top hat made for a Borrower.
Swizzo wore her blonde locks in a sleek straight style, giving her the immaculate VS vibe, and she looked stunning with glowing foundation, lightly contoured cheekbones, a nude lip and fluttery eyelashes. Well we can barely believe our EYES. Who knew that Taylor Swift could be so flippin' sexy, eh?
What do you think of Taylor’s catwalk costume? Could she have found a new career as a Victoria’s Secret angel, or should she stick to the day job?
