Beauty goes James Bond with gadgets galore…

Long gone are the days when a lipgloss was just a lipgloss. Now make-up has to multi-task!

There are glosses that double up as mini torches, mascara charms for your moby, brooches with blusher compartments and for all we know, a hairbrush that leads a double life as an MP3 player!

If you love gadgets, you’ll know that one of the best cosmetic inventions has to be the Bourjois Minis range – there are tiny mirrors, mascaras, lipglosses, lipsticks (new!) and nail buffers to hang from your phone. They’re so handy we can’t imagine how we ever lived without them. From £1.95.

Lancôme released a pricey orb-shaped lipgloss pendant for Xmas (£54!) but we prefer this cool Urban Decay dog tag necklace, £15 (main pic above), complete with nude and cherry colour glosses inside. Perfect for parties and special birthday pressies.

Double ended wands are no novelty, but Superdrug has just released the Duo Dip which stands out from the rest with a metallic liquid liner at one end (instead of boring black) and a mascara at the other, £2.69.

We’re still very much in love with Liparazzi’s light-up lipglosses, but check out Taxi’s range in Superdrug too. We’re written a whole feature about this exciting new brand.

If you’re addicted to French manicures, try YSL’s new French mani pen kit. They make drawing those crescent shaped tips so much easier, £30.
