The do's and don'ts of red carpet glamour...

Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus hosted the Teen Choice Awards which took place last night in Los Angeles.  Our very own David Beckham picked up an award for Choice Male Athlete - well done David! Even Victoria smiled for that one...

But what we're most interested in is what everyone was wearing!! We've taken all the looks from last night and created our very own guide to red carpet glamour.

DO choose bright block colours. Blake Lively knows that this purple number will help her stand out from the crowd. She's added more interest with the thick black belt, too! We like!

DON'T forget to iron! Yeah we all hate doing domestic chores, but as far as your dress is concerned, a crease simply don't do. Selena Gomez obviously hates ironing as much as us as she didn't bother with her dress. Cute ring though! If you're worried about burning the fabric with your iron ask your mum and dad to help you out. Tip: Put a damp cotton tea towel between a hot iron and the dress to get out stubborn creases.
