Unlike most superstar 20-year-olds, Rihanna didn't splurge her birthday money on a monster SUV; instead she treated herself some quirky art by cartoon artist Todd Goldman.

Todd is the toast of Hollywood at the mo, thanks to his doodle-like paintings which often poke fun at celebrity culture, fame and fortune. 

Here's Rih standing in front of one of his works at his exhibition, probably just before she flashed her cheque book at him!

Paintings by Todd are way beyond most people's budgets, but you can pick up a 'Todd’ for a fraction of the price because the artist is also the mastermind behind fashion label David & Goliath.
