The makers of Brave take the mick out of kilt-wearing scots. In a nice way, obvs.
Disney Pixar’s latest venture ‘Brave’ looks like our kind of film. After all, it does feature flame-haired heroine Merida – a butt-kicking Scottish princess with a nose for trouble.
Gotta love a feisty female. The other reason to love the new film is that it’s set in the bonny wee highlands of Scotland, och lassie! (We apologise, but that has exhausted our ‘Scottish sounding’ vocab).
Haggis. Ok, now we're done.
It's about time an animated film was set in the land of tartan. After all, this is the place that gave us Gerard Butler, Su-Bo, James McAvoy .... and David Sneddon.
What do you mean, you don't know who that is?
Come on people, David Sneddon! He won Fame Acadamy in 2002...released a song called 'Stop Living The Lie'...No? Ok then.
ANYWAY. When we think of Scotland we think of David - obviously - but we also think about KILTS. In a non-pervy way. Kind of.
To celebrate the tradition of men wearing skirts - sorry, kilts - the makers of Brave have put together this hilarious little spoof, which also gives a great idea of how brilliant the film is going to be.
Watch it, laugh, enjoy. Then tell us what you think – are you looking forward to Brave hitting our screens?
