Rob was a little scaredy-cat when it came to watching his latest flick.
Being a world renowned actor, you wouldn’t think Robert Pattinson still suffered from nerves, would you?
WELL YOU’D BE WRONG.
RPatz (oops sorry, we shouldn’t call him that – he might strangle us) admitted in a recent interview that donning a bowtie and heading out for the premiere of Cosmopolis in Cannes had him quaking in his boots like a 12-year-old boy.
We're not sure what he thought it was going to do to him. Crawl up his neck and suffocate him before he even had a chance to cry out, perhaps.
While that's a pretty funny mental image, Rob was actually nervous about people judging his acting skills in his latest flick. Obviously.
“I wasn’t even watching [Cosmopolis] I was so nervous,” he told celeb interviewer Alicia Malone. “I was sitting there, that’s the most stressful environment I’ve ever seen a film in. You’re not at a normal premiere with “friendlies” You have the potential of being booed at the end.
“I was preparing myself to have a fight with a thousand people. It was really nerve racking.”
“When you put a bowtie on, I was so nervous about everything,” Rob added. “It’s ridiculous. I put a bow tie on and I felt like I was 12 years old.
When I see pictures I’m like ‘you’re brain isn’t even on.’ It’s literally a glazed over look.”
Perhaps you should leave the bowtie at home next time Robster, it seems to be the root of the problem here. Like Superman with kryptonite.
Watch R to the Patty talking about all this in the video below, it’s actually kind of adorable.
Are you surprised Rob got nervous? You shouldn’t be: ALL these things scare him too.
