The JLS star will replace Adam Garcia on the Sky 1 show...
JLS star Aston Merrygold is returning to his talent show roots - but this time, he'll be on the other side of the judging panel.
Oh yes, Aston has officially confirmed that he will be joining Sky 1 show Got To Dance as a judge, saying that he's "buzzing" to have made the move to telly.
"I have always been a fan of Got To Dance and I'm absolutely buzzing to be part of the best dance show on TV," he said in a statement.
"My past experience on talent shows will help me understand what the contestants are going through and I can't wait to get started."
Aston will replace popular judge Adam Garcia - but don't worry, it was Adam's decision to leave the show due to his upcoming role in West End production Kiss Me Kate.
He also released a statement, saying: "I have absolutely loved my time on Got To Dance, it truly has been the most incredible experience.
"It has shown me the wealth of talent the UK has to offer and the crew on the show have become a second family.
"However, I feel now is the time to pass the baton on to someone new. I want to wish Aston all the best and hope he has as much fun on this show as I did."
Well isn't that nice.
Ex-pussycat doll Kimberly Wyatt and Diversity's Ashley Banjo will return as judges for the fourth time running, with Davina McCall continuing in her role as host, too.
SO, what do you make of this then - happy Aston will be getting his judge on very soon?
Got To Dance will return to Sky1 in 2013.
