i luv my prom dress & managed 2 get it 4 just 40 pounds! the first one i looked at were nice, but were £500+ theres no point on spending that much money on a dress ull probably never wear again!

I agree Tinkerbell. My prom was a few weeks ago now and although brilliant, i couldn't believe how expensive some of the other girls dresses were. I myself picked up a gorgeous black dress for £35, very reasonable. However some of the girls dresses ran into the hundreds, one in particular spent around £900 for a dress that would have been much more suitable for a wedding. I understand that the prom is an important night, but i'd rather buy a fairly cheap dress which could be worn again, than spend a ridiculous sum of money on something that looked over the top, and will never be worn again.

Don't you think some dresses are pricey? £12 is a great price and the dress isn't that bad :) Is anybody is going to a prom quite soon have a lovely night :)
