When we heard on the gossip grapevine that the indie urchins One Night Only were coming to town, we thought it was about time to catch up with gorgeous rockers George and Mark.

We put to the cheeky chaps the questions that everyone is dying to know the answers to. What's their idea of the perfect girl, how do they cope with the huge numbers of girly fans at their gigs, and of course how did they get so gorgeous...

And that's not all One Night Only exclusively answer Sugarscaper's questions too. Plus watch our fab video where we ask ONO the weirdest questions going... gawd don't we spoil you!

Describe your music in three words?
George: Erm…erm…erm hang on I’ve got a good one! Rejuvenating, refreshing and good. (George and Mark both crack up!)

Your latest single It’s About Time, what’s that about?
George: It’s not about anybody specific. It’s just a little story with nice lyrics and it’s good for people to listen and put into their own situation. Use the words in your own way and think about what you want to think about.

Do you get loads of attention from the girlies at your gigs?
Mark: There’s a load of girls and that at the gigs aren’t there.
George: Yeah it’s just nice to meet lots of people - it’s great.

What’s your idea of the perfect girl?
George: Somebody who wants to have fun, that’s the main thing. Somebody who is not shy and is not embarrassed and someone who wants to meet new people. Somebody who is hot as well, hot girls are good!
Mark: I agree with that one.
George: Somebody who creates a happy vibe generally – that’s always a bonus.

What have you got on your ipods at the moment?
George: New Order, Bob Dylan, Stone Roses, The Last Shadow Puppets, Mystery Jets, just loads of stuff.

Is there any new music that you’ve got your eyes on?

George: I think The Kooks album is really good. I don’t care what anybody says, loads of people like the NME are going to slag it off like they did. But I don’t really care because I think it’s a bloody great record with some great songs.

George is a fan of the Kooks new album

Who would be your dream collaboration if you could choose anyone?
George: Probably Bob Dylan like 20 years ago, but no he’s too old.
Mark: Prince would be great and probably better for our music

Do you ever get stage fright playing to such big audiences?
Mark: Not really, sometimes I’ll get a few butterflies before I go on stage. But I don’t suffer from it really.

Have you ever had any really embarrassing moments on stage?
George: Falling over and stuff that’s all it there ever is. Or forgetting the words is quite embarrassing…
Mark: Have you ever done that?
George: Oh now and again yeah.

I can imagine that would be really embarrassing…did anyone notice?
George: Absolutely they totally love it and just laugh along with it – it’s great! It’s always just fun.

Loads of bands have got really funky hairstyles, what do you guys do with yours?
George: Not a lot really. I just wake up and it’s sort of done.
Mark: When I wake up in the morning, it’s just crazy. It goes everywhere in random directions. It means I have to have a shower everyday.

So you never get the old hair straighteners out then? Obviously not you though George with your glossy curls!
Mark: Sam used to, but he doesn’t anymore.
