This weekend was all about manicures, great hair and gorgeous gowns in the States!

This weekend Holllywood's elite made sure it were pampered and preened for the industry's biggest TV award ceremony:  The Emmys.

Weirdly,none of the Gossip Girl cast were present (scandalous!) but appearances from America Ferrera and Hayden Panietierre managed to wow the crowds.

Sadly our favourites didn't manage to nab any awards: Ricky Gervais didn't get his Best Mini Series Actor award and America Ferrera was only nominated from Lead Actress in a Comedy Show - boo!
