Fancy yourself as the next JK Rowling? Then get entering this comp!

Three questions. 1) Are you a bit of a literary genius? 2) Do you like reading? 3) Do you fancy an all-expenses paid trip to London to judge a swanky book prize?

Then you need to get your best fluffy pen and notebook combo out for The BookTrust Teenage Prize short story comp!

Booktrust is looking for four reading/writing buffs to join their judging panel for The Booktrust Teenage Prize 2009 and help choose the best teen book of the year - like last year's winner The Knife Of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness.

To enter you need to write a short story (of no more than 500 words) about what you'd do if your were President or Prime Minister for the day. You can be in charge of any country you like - sounds pretty fun to us!

For more details  click here or here or bug your teachers (!) - entry forms will be getting sent to secondary schools on May 1!
