We HEART shoes. But sensible, government rationed wartime shoes, not so much. So when we heard about the 'New Nostalgia' trend, we were envisaging all manner of hobnailed boots and the like.

Turns out  - completely the opposite - we're talking jewel-shade, gold-lined, minnie mouse, bow-front, button-up, silly, silly heels. Well, we guess they had to have some fun!
