Let's hope it involves less acting than iCarly
Clearly quite fancying the lit-up mirror and special folding chair with his name on that he's going to get for filming, Niall Horan has revealed a few things about what we can expect from the upcoming One Direction 3D movie.
Apparently it's set to be along the same lines as the half concert half documentary movies that both Justin Bieber and Katy Perry are so fond of, and it's set to hit cinemas in August 2013.
Having a chat with MTV, Niall revealed that they've also signed up Morgan Spurlock, writer star and director of documentary Super Size Me, to take on the reins as their director.
Yep, that's the guy who filmed himself eating a McDonalds morning, noon and night every day until he began to have problems fitting through doorways. We can't imagine what he and Nialler will have to talk about. Well, apart from trying to remove chicken nugget and milkshake stains from your trousers obviously.
"Morgan works well because he did a lot of documentary movies,” Niall told MTV. “That’s more what we want our movie to be.”
But instead of proving a point about the perils of eating chips, the focus is going to be more about revealing the true nature of 1D.
“It’s going to be a concert movie, but with a documentary side more than concert side. We wanted to give it like, get our personalities across because the fans know us, but we want them to know us deeper," Goldilocks added.
This was all sounding great, but in a move nearly as badass as drinking a can of coke AFTER brushing his teeth, Liam slightly ruined the deep and sensitive message Goldilocks was trying to get across with a single nod of his baldy head.
“You know what we always say, when we left home to do ‘X Factor’ our parents were like ‘Make sure you take loads of pictures,’ but we’ve got a film to do that for us now so we can be lazy,” he added.
But what do you think? Jigging about with excitement already?
