The Twilight hottie has taken Twilight to Japan... check out the crazy fans!

Wow... hasn't Rob been a busy boy! It was only two days ago that the hottie was gracing the red carpet, and the stage, at The Oscars... now he has flown across to the other side of the world to Tokyo!

There were hundreds of fans waiting for Mr Pattinson at Narita airport in Tokyo and the lovely Rob was more than happy to stop and sign autographs... even after the long haul flight he still looks hot!!

The 22-year-old British actor caught up with MTV on the red carpet and dished the gossip about New Moon. Here's what he had to say:

• About the New Moon script: “I think there’s going to be some continuity. But it’s weird, because they are shooting it in a different city [than the first film]. I’ve talked to Chris [the director] a bit, but we’ve only talked about my character; I haven’t really talked about the whole look of it. But Chris is great with visual stuff, so it should be pretty impressive.”
• About what scene he’s looking forward to film the most: “The scene where we [Edward and Bella] temporarily break up. On one hand, it’s completely impossible. And on the other, it sets a very different tone to the series. I think it will be good.”
• On the release date of Eclipse (the third film in the series) that was just announced: “I didn’t even know that! Breaking Dawn is going to be out at some point as well. Yeah, I’m gonna be Twilight-ed out by the end of the year.”
