Two lucky FILMCLUB members got presented the Young Film Critic of the Year Awards by Harry Potter baddie Tom Felton!

16-year-old Rosemary Collins from Cheltenham and 8-year-old Phoebe Lawrance from Lincolnshire each received an award for the Best FILMCLUB Review in the Primary and Secondary school categories.

Well done girlies, and for their reward a moment with bad boy himself Tom Felton!

If you haven't heard of FILMCLUB then you chould listen up. It's a project whihc gives students and teachers access to hundreds of great films in after-school clubs!

This is what the Draco Malfoy actor had to say about the scheme,  “I think it’s a fantastic initiative. I think FILMCLUB and getting kids into films is a great idea but the idea of getting them into films as a group is even better. You kind of learn who you are by seeing films with different people.  I think it’s a great way to interact with other kids and see what’s out there.”

We all love films but not as much as FILMCLUB do, they're all about making sure that everyone has the chance to see great films, which broaden horizons and get the creative juices flowing. After all, how much more will you enjoy school if you know you've got a great film to watch at the end of the day.

If you'd like to set up a film club in your school, tell your teacher to visit www.filmclub.org and click on the I WANT TO SET UP A FILMCLUB tab! Let us know if you set one up, we'd love to hear what you're watching.
