The Twilight hottie left family members and friends stunned when he didn't hesitate to name his pooch as the one 'person' that meant the most to him.

"I keep talking about my dog all the time. I had this incredible dog which I talked about in this interview the other day and I said the dog was the most important person in my life and my family went crazy at me for saying it."

"It (his death) was one of the most defining moments of my life; it was the worst day of my life having the dog die." 

Aww this makes us heart him even more! We love our pets too!

"I was talking to people who picture a dog dying when they want to cry and I was like, 'I would never do that!' It cheapens the memory so much."

AND R-Patz admitted he wants to start a family saying he thinks he's "getting broody"!

"I've always liked the idea of having a younger sibling. My family tricked me about five years ago that my mum was pregnant. I didn't realise it was April Fool's Day!"

"I spent the entire day saying I was gonna have a little brother and told all my friends it was the best thing in my entire life. I carried on for like three days believing it!"

And playing a big brother in his new movie Remember Me has only fuelled Pattinson's parenting dreams.

"After working on this movie, whenever I see a part now with a younger brother, or a part where I've got a kid... I just love the idea of that. I think I'm getting broody. It's so bizarre."
