The pop sensation sparked an outrage when freezing fans were left out in the cold without a glimpse of their hero...

We're big fans of Justin Bieber here at Sugarscape, but we weren't best pleased to hear that he disappointed a gaggle of girls who'd been waiting to meet him outside London's Mayfair Hotel last week.

Twitter addict Justin tweeted fans saying: "Everyone keeps asking me where I will be today...gonna be at the Mayfair Hotel at 6.30 to party with the bosses."

Justin leaving the Mayfair Hotel flanked by his security.

Hundreds of fans then turned up outside the hotel, waiting for a glimpse of J-Biebs when he left the party. But the girls were left bitterly disappointed when Justin snuck out through the back door and ignored the autograph requests of the clever girls who'd thought to wait outside the celebrities' favourite 'secret' exit.

Some fans were so upset Justin hadn't bothered to greet them, they shouted abuse as he drove off in his car.

Hundreds of excitable fans waited to get a glimpse of Justin.

But it seems the pint-sized singer had an attack of conscience after he tweeted an apology an hour later.

He said: "Wish I could have come out from the performance at the mayfair but security wouldn't let me. For those girls who cursed me out for it. I'm sorry but sometimes I need to listen to security so no one gets hurt. But I like your attitude. The UK goes hard."

Justin in the car that whisked him away from the Mayfair. Err, nice shoes, BTdubs.

But is it enough to win back his angry fans?
