Fifteen minutes that plane was waiting for them!

One Direction have come a long way from being, well, ordinary lads, but it seems that the perks of being famous, if these reports are to be believed, are starting to change Harry, Zayn, Louis, Liam and Niall ever so slightly. Either that or they were always late for things before they became singing superstars.

One Direction delay a plane

The Sun is reporting that, according to an airport source who works at Heathrow: “The One Direction lads have joined the upper echelons of the celebrity world after BA delayed a passenger flight for them.”

“The passengers will no doubt be cheesed-off when they discover the delay to their service was due to a boyband’s bad time-keeping. Especially when they find out that the lads had been shopping and had landed at Heathrow five hours earlier.”

When you’ve been at an airport for that amount of time, there’s not really any excuse for being late to your plane, even if you are the biggest boyband in the UK at the moment.

The source continued: “It just shows you how far One Direction has come. The boys all seemed oblivious to the fuss, and turned up for the flight without so much as an apology to the rest of the passengers. They were more concerned about safely storing their duty-free purchases before taking to their seats.”

That doesn’t really sound like something One Direction would do, but hey, you never know. They had obviously bought some very precious items from the duty-free that needed to be put away with the greatest of care. Or maybe it was just booze. Sadly, we'll probably never know.
