The Union J lads are pretty proud of their X Factor bandmate too..

To say we are like Union J is like saying we are only slightly partial to stuffing chocolate in our gobs and with that in mind, we thought it was pretty bloody awesome when X Factor contestant Jaymi Hensley decided to publically come out as gay over the weekend.

It might have been a nerve-wracking decision, but Jaymi decided to be open with fans because he's pretty proud to be himself. As he blimmin' well should be as far as we're concerned. Have you seen how fit his face is?

Anyway, it sounds like the news has gone down a treat and Jaymi's been pretty overwhelmed by the support fans have given him - especially from those who've found his honesty pretty inspiring stuff.

"I have not seen one negative comment. I want to say a massive thank you for people's support. It has been incredible," he told the Sun.

"I have already had messages from young gay guys saying, 'Thank you so much, I can look up to you', and that's what I did it for."

Unfortunately for all you hopeful boys out there, Jaymi's already loved up with hairdresser boyfriend Olly Marmon, who's apparently also had a pile of support from X Factor fans.

"Olly has got loads of messages. I always knew people would find him but he is totally overwhelmed with the support," he said. "It's really uplifting."

You lot aren't the only ones excited about all this and Jaymi's Union J bandmates also tweeted to show their love for him.

“Wanted to say how proud we are of our brother Jaymi for coming out and being proud of his sexuality! We are SO proud," they said.

Dawww.

What do you think about all that then?
