Pop princess Kate Nash is well renowned for her quirky lyrics, be it a song about mouthwash, floss and cups of tea Miss Nash certainly seems to top the list for confusing and crazy songs.

We had a dig through the wordy songstresses back catalogue of strange songs to find the weirdest to date.

Look what we came up with...

The Skeleton Song taken from Kate's album Made of Bricks

“Skeleton you are my friend
But you are made of bone
And you have got no flesh and blood
Running through you to help protect the bone”

We’re confused is she talking about a real person or simply a figment of her imagination?

“Skeleton we have been friends for years
And you have seen me through some trials
And tribulations and some tears
But everybody thinks I'm weird”

Weird indeed! We’re wondering if the skeleton is actually a skinny person, and her skeleton friend is the only one who understands her?

“I take a hammer and I creep out of bed
And I raise it high
And I smash your head
Fibular and tubular
And ribs and cages, too
In fact, while I'm here
I'll smash the whole of you
Smaaaaaaaaaaash!”

We're beginning to feel a wee bit sorry for her poor skeleton friend, we’re hoping she’s only talking metaphorically!

Some people have said this song is Kate’s take on the size-zero debate however others have said it’s about a blow up skeleton that she used to keep in her home.
What do you think? We’d loved to hear from you, we’re in a state of confusion…
