Here at Sugarscape, we were glued to the TV for X Factor's amazing Mariah-fest, but sadly another hopeful got the boot...

It was yet again 'Battle of the Divas' on X Factor, as Laura and Ruth battled it out for a place in the next round. The finalists had the once in a lifetime opportunity to be mentored by the original diva, Mariah Carey, and the competition was fierce, as each took on a Mariah song and tried to make it their own.

On the 'sing-off'', we loved Laura's angelic version of Over The Rainbow, but it was Ruth's growling rock chick take on Knockin' On Heaven's Door that won the judges' vote. The fiery Senorita Lorenzo triumphed again, but can she survive another week (she's become quite a regular in the Sing Off)? 

But was the judges' decision fair? Did you vote for Laura or want her to stay? Did you think Mariah's performance was 'all that'? Sooo many questions, but we're just hooked.

We wonder who will go next - will it be crooner Daniel, moaner Rachel or even 'hedgehog hair' Eoghan?
