We used to work in a shop. And it was a little bit boring. Mostly because of this whole ‘the customer is always right’ malarkey. Erm, hate to break it to you mate, but sometimes (just sometimes), they’re really not.
The guys over at Rough Trade records have realised this, and instead of just asking the customers for their recommendations, they’ve also asked the people who eat/sleep/breathe good music. Yuhuh: the staff members of their shops.

With their reccommendations in mind, RT have created a lovely new compilation of all the bestsellers, the staff favourites and some little-known / up-and-coming bands. Altogether, the 2-disc album makes our heart sing.
It includes The XX, The Horrors, Django Django and LOADS more.
