The NME Awards 2008 heralded some bizarre fashion choices last night...

Well done to Kate Nash for winning Best Solo artist at the NME Awards! And double pat on the back to Kate for choosing the best outfit of the night - a simple gold shimmery dress with a pretty bow.

Sadly the same can not be said for her fellow guests Peaches Geldof and Larissa from Skins.

Peaches managed to look like she was dressed for Halloween by choosing a pallid dress and boring cardie. This would have been okay had she stayed clear of the horror-show orange eye make-up. Ghoulish!

Poor Larissa from Skins completely missed the mark with her crazy tutu dress - the kaleidoscopic pattern was the stuff of nightmares.

Even top model Agyness Deyn let us down with her mismatched combo of red sequins, blue tartan, granddad shirt and nasty leather cap. Although Carl Barat, seen holding her, certainly seemed to like it.

Flying the totally outrageous fashion flag, were Lovefoxx from CSS and Patrick Wolf who you have to admire for daring to be different.

Lovefoxx dressed as an iridescent Xmas present complete with detachable bow,  while we reckon Patrick drew inspiration from Mr.Tumnus in The Chronicles of Narnia for his fawn-like feathery trousers.

Still if are you are going to go down the experimental route, make sure you do like a professional, okay Peaches!
