X Factor winner dresses down for TRL…

Pop princess Leona Lewis was recently snapped stepping into the TRL studios in New York looking surprisingly dressed down.

Sporting a floppy woollen hat and slouchy cream jacket teamed with black leather boots - the X Factor winner looked like she couldn’t quite be bothered to dress up for the occasion.

The 22-year-old Bleeding Love singer has taken the US by storm since her arrival in March. Her debut single instantly hit the Number One spot on the Billboard Hot 100, making her the first British female artist in 21 years to top the chart. Quite an achievement!

But if these pictures are anything to go by it seems the songstress maybe lacking the enthusiasm that originally landed her the X Factor crown. After all TRL is one of the most popular music shows on MTV and a host of high profile stars including Paris Hilton have sparkled in glitz and glamour when they have appeared on the show. But hey maybe she was just having a lazy day!

Her debut album Spirit hits the US record stores April 15, lets hope she can hang on to the top stop until then!
