Harry's fedora's got him in with the indie types
If ever there was a band with universal appeal, it's those One Direction fellas. Our nan loves them, we happen to think they're above average and even Wheatus of 'Teenage Dirtbag' fame like a bit of our boys (let's not bring The Wanted and Jake Bugg into this, eh?). And some of 1D's biggest fanboys are indie cool kids The Vaccines, who've been praising the lads *again* - this time for their creativity.
Unless you've been living under a rock you'll be aware Niall Horan and co. have been working with the band on tunes for their next album *scream*...and frontman Justin Long reckons they're well talented and stuff.
Chatting to Digital Spy at Glastonbury Festival over the weekend, J-Young discussed working with the fellas in the studio, saying: "It was great. I’m a big fan of pop music and the art of songwriting. It was a really fulfilling experience. They’re really nice guys and more creative than many people would probably believe."
Words cannot explain how jealous we are of this 'fulfilling experience' they shared together.
And the whole process was *so* amazing that Justin isn't even bothered if his tracks make the final cut, adding: "I genuinely don’t know if [they will use my songs] and I genuinely don’t care. That’s not why I did it. I saw it as an artistic opportunity as well as a monetary one.”
Love an artictic opportunity.
What do you reckon? Excited to see if Justin's tracks make the album? Are you even READY for it? Comments in the shiny little box below, please and a-thank you.
