Meet Lil Mama. She's the 18-year-old rap artist that's taking the hip hop world by storm.

Her debut single 'Shawty get loose' features non other than R n B royalty, Chris Brown, and we think the track is almost as hot as Chris himself!

Her sound reminds us of Fergie - but better. Her raps are raw, lyrics are street and it actually feels like she's lived the words she's saying - unlike a lot of silver spooned artists today.

Lil Mama has seven siblings and grew up in New York's rough east side. She is also part of the Entertainers 4 Education Alliance which is dedicated to promote education and positive decsion making.

She says: "There are so many people struggling and going through so much and to hear somebody brag about jewelery and stuff like that, it's overrated." Good point girl. We like a lot.
