Vampire Weekend are one of the most exciting and fresh bands out there right now and their brand new album, Contra, proves it

The band performed at last year's Leeds Festival.

The band have stepped up their game with their second album. Instead of following most bands and getting stuck on the second album - writing about going on tour and not evolving their style - the band have made a more upbeat album, improving their style. Luckily for us, we didn't have to wait around to listen to the new album, the band put up all the tracks on their MySpace!
