After 2012's BRIT Awards saga where James Corden was forced to cut Adele's speech short, all eyes will be on the 2013 ceremony to see if ITV favour a band playing for approx 27 minutes too long and a punctual start to the evening news over a heartfelt thank you speech from a worthy award winner.
James Corden has been announced as next year's host, returning to the stage for the fourth time (and third year in a row, good for you J-Cordz), after Nick Grimshaw hosts the nominations announcement in London on January 10th 2013.
Damien Hirst will be the snazzy statue designer this year, following Vivienne Westwood's design efforts from 2012 ('efforts' sounds like she did a bit of papier mache and hoped for the best, but they were really quite lovely looking things).
The categories will be announced over "the coming weeks" before the
big booze up lavish ceremony in the O2 next year.
Who do YOU think should be nominated? Hmm?
