Last week Scooter Braun launched a twitter tirade against the Grammy board for failing to recognise Justin Bieber - now Simon Cowell has defended One Direction's similar lack of nominations.

Basically, Uncle Si doesn't give a flying frick.

One Direction would quite like Simon Cowell to take them on holiday. Preferably to Barbados.

Speaking to MTV News Simon revealed that he isn't concerned that the boys won't be winning any Grammys this year, insisting that it's the fans that matter to the lads, not awards.

Well, fans and record sales. Obvs.

"You know what's more important? Fans, record sales, I've always said that," said Simon. "Maybe next year they'll get something. Trust me, they're not complaining."
