What with that number one single under his belt, X Factor winner James Arthur is getting ready to start work on his debut album and will reportedly be spending some time in the studio with Adele's producer Fraser T. Smith.
According to The Sun, the folk over at Simon Cowell's label haven't been hanging about and now that the holidays are over, James is all set to hit the studio.
But he won't be left to scratch his head in the booth on his own and apparently they've lined up the swanky producer to oversee the whole project.
Judging by Adele's house full of awards, we'd imagine this would be pretty awesome if it does happen. But if you're not sure about James doing an Adele styles belter of an album, Fraser has also worked with Florence + the Machine and Dappy, so maybe we'll get a few tracks of him rapping in a hoodie and long floaty dress on there too.
Either way we're pretty excited to hear him singing his own songs and can't wait to see if he gets anyone else involved in any collaborations. We're guessing Matt Cardle probably won't be volunteering though.
Who would you like to see James work with?
