When Sporty Spice isn't busy arranging her tracksuits according to a strict scale of shininess, she sometimes has time for the odd interview and speaking to Heat this week, offered a few words of advice to the lads.

Naturally we assumed it would be along the lines of remembering to stretch your hamstrings before doing a high kick, but it turns out she's a bit more philosophical these days.

"They seem to be breaking America, which we were lucky enough to do," she said, probably recalling the good old days when Geri still kicked doors open with her platform shoes instead of opening them like a normal person.

"My advice would be just enjoy it, because so often with success like that, it’s over so quickly," she added.

"Really enjoy every minute of it. Try and take it all in, because it’s crazy.

"With pop bands, [fame] is often so short-lived that you have to take every opportunity that you can, and it is hard."
