Ariana Grande explains delay of Chris Brown collab 'Don't Be Gone Too Long': 'My duet partner isn't available at the moment'

For ages, Ariana Grande of very good hair and an alright voice fame's been teasing us that her Chris Brown collaboration Don't Be Gone Too Long is almost here. But d'ya know what? Almost is never enough - and we need it in our little pop-loving earholes pretty much RIGHT NOW.

It looks like we've got a bit of a wait on our hands, though - 'cause now Breezy's been sentenced to a month in jail for breaking his probation (not ideal) and Ariana's taken to Twitter to explain the whole delay drama.

Apologising to her fans on everyone's favourite social media platform, Ariana said: "my loves... so obviously some things have changed recently... so we have to delay the dbgtl countdown... some things are out of our control" [sic]. Um - out of your control maybe, babes.

She continued to explain: "my duet partner isn't available at the moment to put the song out with me" [sic]. Awks. This is basically how the whole thing went:

She also chucked a teaser of the track on Instagram before taking it down pretty sharpish. It actually sounded very good, tbh. HOORAY.

What d'ya reckon, then? Disappointed by the delay? Still excited for the collab? Comments please.
