If you've got an ounce of sense, you'll know that the whole McBusted supergroup malarky is the best thing to have happened to your eyeballs and eardrums in the history of music/life in general. Seriously, if you've got Niall Horan and Calum Hood fangirling over you you're not going far wrong, are ya? But just how do the McBusted fellas feel about inspiring this next wave of punk rock popstars, eh?
We caught up with Danny Jones and Matt Willis over the weekend to get all the goss on what it's like to have influenced the 5SOS and One Direction boys and, consequently, made our lives worth living.
Mcfly and busted.. TOGETHER! Best news I've heard all day.

Chatting to us backstage ahead of their ridiculously amazing British Summer Time Hyde Park gig in London yesterday, flannel shirt fanatic Danny Jones said: "It's amazing. There's a few bands, like the 1D boys, and they're all getting to that age where Busted or McFly was the first gig they ever went to. It's amazing because it's really nice to hear and really nice to see that bands are taking influence from what you do.
"You get the compliment here and there, but to actually see people in bands picking up guitars and going their thing - any musical influence that we can give them - is amazing to see. It's really nice to hear."
Check out the fellas saying these actual words below.
What d'ya reckon, eh? Reckon Cal Pal and co. will be well chuffed? Comments please...
