Zayn Malik's taken some time out from wandering the streets of New York with his new girlfriend Gigi Hadid to cover the latest issue of Billboard magazine; posing for pics, talking about One Direction and all that malarky. You know the drill.
Following his first big solo interview with The FADER, el Maliko's face is plastered all over the front of the music mag. And while we try to take in the fact he's had some stuff to say about 1D and looks RIDICULOUSLY AND INSANELY BEAUTIFUL in the shots, it's time to look ahead to what his solo career holds. Agh.
Chatting about Zayn's music, RCA chairman/CEO-type Peter Edge explained: "It doesn't feel like choreographed pop. It's widely rumored that Harry is working on a record, and I'm sure it won't sound like 1D, exactly. But it feels like maybe Zayn's further along, musically."
Zayn added that Liam would always give him 'credit in terms of vocal ability' back in the 1D days, with Billboard teasing that highlights of his tracks so far include: 'the sour synth of 'BeFour,' a sweep of strings in 'It's You,' the whip-crack snare of 'Wrong.''
Basically it all sounds very cool and edgy. So yeah. Here's another fit pic for your eyeballs, ooooh:
AND ANOTHER. Very...beady. Actually this one's our fave.
Speaking about how he's discovered himself since going s-o-l-o, Zayn added: "I'm incredibly disciplined. I realized I can push myself through situations I might not necessarily want to do, but can overcome by being in the moment. No matter what, I can smile and do whatever I got to do."
