We've kinda got this feeling Zayn Malik's gonna be a pretty big deal in 2016. Sorry, Z016. And while we don't know *too* much about his solo stuff so far - other than a couple of track titles and those ridiculously short clips he teased on Snapchat - producer fella Raymond Angry's chucked a sneaky snippet of a new song on Instagram.
Ray's currently working with el Maliko on his solo shiz alongside Jared Scharff; and during their little studio sesh tracking one of the tunes yesterday he decided to post a bit on the interweb to give us a little clue as to what we can expect.
Like, when we say 'little' it's literally thirteen seconds of instumental. STILL EXCITING THOUGH.
Zayn's record label CEO chap Peter Edge has already told us we ain't getting any 'choreographed pop,' and Raymond's latest clip kinda proves it. It sort of sounds like The Weeknd meets Frank Ocean meets Miguel meets Lana Del Rey; and if we had to describe it in five words they'd probably be:
- Melancholic (ooh)
