When One Direction first announced this hiatus of theirs, the outlook was pretty bleak. We thought there'd be NOTHING from Camp 1D for years to come, but here we are a couple of weeks in and the news updates just keep on comin'. Kinda impressive really.
This time it's big boss man Simon Cowell having a chat about the boys, revealing that he's now one of the chosen few who's already seen the music video for the band's latest and last-for-a-while single, 'History'.
And his review of the vid is kind of a warning message. Probably start building that ark now, because you're gonna need to sail away on your own tears.
The entire One Direction fandom has waited longer than we humanly thought possible for One Direction's video for 'History', but seeing as Uncle Si's now officially given it the go ahead, we're gonna guess it must be just around the corner.
Revealing to Yahoo Celeb UK that he has indeed witnessed the magic for himself, Simon spilled: "I just saw the video last night and, God, it makes you feel emotional."
OH CHRIST, if it makes Simon Cowell - man of robot feels and stone heart - feel this emotional, then what is it actually going to do to the rest of us who cry about Harry's hair and Niall's glasses? We're scared.
"When that drops you're going to see another lease of life for that record," he said. "I did get emotional watching it."
We're doomed we tell you. DOOMED. If it involves any kind of fetus montage (or theother suggestions that we had for the video) then we might as well say goodbye to our loved ones now.
Buckle up you lot, it's gonna be an emotional rollercoaster.
