The One Direction boys have another fancy platinum disc for their oh-so-crowded walls, everybody. After the Made in the A.M. album was certified platinum earlier this month, the 'Steal My Girl' single has now officially shifted over 600,000 copies according to the BPI. Hooray and hoorah.
Yup - according to the British Phonographic Industry (ooh la la) Harry, Niall, Liam, Louis and Zayn's lead Four single's essentially shifted shitloads since its release back in 2014. And, since it's one of our forever faves from the boys, we thought we'd take a look at why the song's so bloody brilliant.
It's just good to show some love, innit?
So why do we still listen to 'Steal My Girl' on the regular, then? Well:
That piano intro, though.
It's physically impossible to be in a bad mood while listening to it.
Seriously, try and get to the end of Zayn's first verse without breaking out into a spontaneous shimmy. Can't do it, can ya?
Speaking of spontaneous shimmies...
It gave us this iconic Niall moment.
Also this from Harry. DANNY DEVITO, WE LOVE YOUR WORK.
It's one of the ones our dad likes.
Which must mean it's good, right? He likes 'proper music.'
Payno's sassy walk was just everything, in hindsight.
The leopard print coat was nice, wasn't it?
LOUIS BEING FATHERLY.
It always goes OFF live. OOGY OGGY OGGY, OI OI OI.
Let's just listen to it again and again 'cos it be brill.
What d'ya make of that, then? Well proud of the boys? Tweet us over @sugarcape or drop a comment in that funny box thing nobody really uses below, yo.
